                    QUICKBAR PRO v2.0.0 - INSTALLATION GUIDE

Welcome to QuickBar Pro v2.0.0 for Adobe After Effects (2020 - 2026+).
Compatible with both Windows (10/11) and macOS (Intel & Apple Silicon M1/M2/M3/M4).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OPTION 1: AUTOMATIC 1-CLICK INSTALLATION (RECOMMENDED)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FOR WINDOWS:
1. Double-click "Install_Windows.bat"
2. Wait 3 seconds until you see "SUCCESS: QuickBar Pro v2.0.0 Installed Successfully!"
3. Restart After Effects and open: Window -> Extensions -> Quick Bar Pro.

FOR MAC:
1. Double-click "Install_Mac.command"
   (If macOS blocks it: Right-click -> Open -> Click "Open")
2. Follow prompt until completion.
3. Restart After Effects and open: Window -> Extensions -> Quick Bar Pro.

OPTION 2: ZXP INSTALLER METHOD (UNIVERSAL - WIN & MAC)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Download & Install any free ZXP Installer:
   - aescripts + aeplugins ZXP Installer: https://aescripts.com/learn/zxp-installer/
   - Anastasiy's Extension Manager: https://install.anastasiy.com/
   - ZXP Installer: https://zxpinstaller.com/
2. Drag and drop "QuickBarPro_v2.0.0.zxp" (or "com.quickbar.pro.zxp") into the installer.
3. Restart After Effects and open: Window -> Extensions -> Quick Bar Pro.

OPTION 3: MANUAL INSTALLATION (ZIP METHOD)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FOR WINDOWS:
1. Extract "QuickBarPro_Manual_Install_v2.0.0.zip"
2. Copy the entire folder named "com.quickbar.pro" into:
   C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CEP\extensions\
   (Shortcut: Press Win + R, type "%APPDATA%\Adobe\CEP\extensions" and hit Enter)
3. Enable PlayerDebugMode:
   - Open Command Prompt (CMD) as Administrator and run:
     reg add "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.11" /v PlayerDebugMode /t REG_SZ /d 1 /f
     reg add "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.12" /v PlayerDebugMode /t REG_SZ /d 1 /f
     reg add "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.13" /v PlayerDebugMode /t REG_SZ /d 1 /f
     reg add "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.14" /v PlayerDebugMode /t REG_SZ /d 1 /f
4. Restart After Effects.

FOR MAC:
1. Extract "QuickBarPro_Manual_Install_v2.0.0.zip"
2. Copy the folder "com.quickbar.pro" to:
   ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/
   (In Finder: Go -> Go to Folder... -> paste: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions)
3. Open Terminal and run:
   defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.11 PlayerDebugMode 1
   defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.12 PlayerDebugMode 1
   defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.13 PlayerDebugMode 1
   defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.14 PlayerDebugMode 1
4. Restart After Effects.

TROUBLESHOOTING & SCRIPTING PERMISSIONS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In After Effects, ensure Scripting permissions are enabled:
1. Go to: Edit -> Preferences -> Scripting & Expressions (Win)
   Or: After Effects -> Preferences -> Scripting & Expressions (Mac)
2. Check the box: "Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network".
3. Click OK.
